Design and Technology Minor
The Minor in Design and Technology introduces students to emerging technologies and interdisciplinary practices that bridge the physical and digital realms. Open to students from all majors, the program connects design and engineering through shared exploration of digital tools, interactive systems, and data-driven methods grounded in principles of human-centered design and experiential design.
Through courses in physical computing, immersive media, and computational design, students develop both technical fluency and conceptual agility, skills essential for collaboration across design, engineering, and technology-focused fields. This minor is ideal for students who seek to push the boundaries of their disciplines and advance their fields toward new, cross-disciplinary visions of design and innovation.
